Corny crap worth watching - Batman Reviews

This movie has the #@$!est jokes the Jocker succks in this movie. With an awesome action parts and killing. This movie invovles a guy who is reborn with a unbreakable smile he starts a killing spree and batman must kick his ass. RENT IT LIKE I DID.

Very cool - Batman Reviews

Michael Keaton is the perfect BATMAN and Jack Nicholson is classic as The Joker (the only one who can play him in my opinion). Kim Basinger is cool as Bruce Wayne's love intrest and the origin of The Joker was PERFECT! The flash-backs were greatly timed with the movie and I love the climax (but the entire movie is cool...) GREAT movie!

Who are you?? i'm batman!! - Batman Reviews

And this movie truly is batman. So much better then the campy 70's Adam West version I loved this movie. The dark Gothim City scenary set the perfect back drop to one of the most perfect soundtracks that went with the movie ever. With Nicholson as the joker and Keaton as Batman I thought they played thier roles off each other perfectly. This movie is what I envision Batman to be, having read the first script thought up for this movie I'm sooo glad this is the one they went with. With classic lines like, This town needs an enima, i laughed and loved watching this movie. A must for anyone who enjoys a great movie to watch with anyone young and old.

Very disappointing - Batman Reviews

One of the slowest efforts I've seen in a really splashy big budget movie. The atmosphere that is supposed to drive the viewer is so absent of emotion that Batman not only approaches teduim but passes right over it. Only Nicholson keeps this from being a disaster and not by much.

The movie of the decade... - Batman Reviews

That was a mainstream review that hit the nail right on the head. Originally planned in the late '70's to follow up Superman, producers kept the idea rolling throughout the early and mid-'80's. Ironically, Jack was signed to play the Joker in both the conceived films. After an 'exhaustive' search, Tim burton was signed to direct, Jack to star and Michael Keaton the surprise pick as the man in the mask. With Kim Basinger picking up for Sean Young, the film simply rolled. With months of teasers, cereal and toys... the film released on June 23rd and dominated the box office... and didn't do Prince any harm either. The film set a new standard in summer blockbusters and completely redesigned the idea of 'comic book' films, and makes my list of 'Best' for that reason. Not nearly as true to the comic lore as 'Batman Begins', still a great tribute to the Dark Knight and his greatest nemesis, the Joker. This film reaches comic epic and no bathroom breaks allowed.

Bat - Batman Reviews

overrated joker and tender hero but good cinematography anyway this movie could be better than this if the director make it more thriller and darker.

Best comic adaptation on the big screen - Batman Reviews

In the comic-superhero genre, Batman is the most significant milestone after Superman. Tim Burton took the original challenge of making a dark and cynical movie out of a light and funny comic, and he succeeded wonderfully. That was pure genius. Add to this the unique performance of Jack Nicholson and the very convincing performance of Michael Keaton (he has not been equaled as Batman so far), and your movie is headed to the Oscars. I've watched Batman several times and still enjoy it - it does not get old.
